Front Row, Sofa!

I Don't Get No Respect

The Godfather trilogy was announced for DVD today.

Francis Ford Coppola and his group of capos all got together and had a big party in New York City to announce it (where was my invite, dammit! I get no respect...)

Anyhow, this very exciting news is courtesy of Paramount Pictures (who own the distribution rights to the trilogy) and Zoetrope Studios (Coppola's production company).

The trilogy hits DVD on October 9th as five-disc set. There's one disc each for The Godfather I and III, and a two-disc set for the The Godfather II. There's also a fifth disc of extras including a 73-minute documentary on the trilogy.

The suggested retail price is $99.95 (US). This set definitely looks sweet!
